Shielded masonry enclosures are masonry enclosures vacuum-coated with a metal layer to reduce low-frequency alternating electric fields. The metal coating is located on the outside of the enclosure and is fitted with a riveted 1.5 mm² potential equalization wire. This is connected to conventional plug-in terminals (Wago, Weidmüller) and to the shield wire of the cable or to the PE (yellow/green) of an unshielded cable.
The Danell shielded masonry box, used in conjunction with shielded phase wires or shielded cables in your electrical installation, eliminates electric fields and the associated inconveniences.
Influencing our nervous, immune and endocrine systems, their main effects are :
- stress,
- nervousness,
- irritability,
- hyperactivity,
- insomnia,
- headaches,
- concentration problems and memory impairment,
- abnormal fatigue,
- depression,
- acidification of the body,
- failing immune system,
- etc.
The use of shielded products is essential when the building materials are highly conductive, such as wood or plasterboard.
Shielded wires, cables and boxes should be used first and foremost in rooms where you will be staying for long periods (bedroom, office), or even throughout your home, depending on your degree of sensitivity to electric fields and the amount of time you spend in other rooms.
