The Earthing "Doudou" blanket is a soft conductive blanket that's very pleasant to use. It's ideal for use when you're watching TV, reading a book or just relaxing.
It keeps you nice and warm while giving your body all the benefits of Earthing (connecting your body to the earth, like walking barefoot in the grass).
It can also be used in bed to connect you to the earth while you sleep.
The light side (off-white) is made from organic cotton woven with highly conductive fibres, while the chocolate back is made from soft microfibres.
There must be direct contact between the skin and the conductive part of the blanket (the side containing the silver fibre and the embossed word "Earthing").
The Earthing "Doudou" plaid blanket comes with a 4.60 m earthing cord and plug. There is a connector on the edge of the blanket to which the connection cord is attached. It must be connected to an earthed socket.
However, if you don't have a satisfactory earth connection at home and you live in a detached house or at the bottom of a block of flats, you can use a "metal earthing rod".

What is Earthing?
According to Clinton Ober, Stephen Sinatra and Martin Zucker's book "Connecting to the Earth, Perhaps the most important health discovery", which serves as a reference work on the subject, connecting the body to the earth (or Earthing) restores the body's natural electrical balance and discharges it of electrostatic charges, just like when you walk barefoot in the grass.
The various Earthing products reproduce this natural phenomenon.
It has a number of benefits, including :
- an improved immune system
- improved digestion
- an improvement in sleep quality and a balancing of our biological clock
- increased energy and reduced stress
- improved blood circulation
- faster recovery from intense physical activity and faster healing of injuries
- relief from muscular tension, headaches, hormonal and menstrual symptoms
- a reduction in inflammation
- reduced stress, anxiety, irritability and even symptoms of electrosensitivity

Care and washing advice
It's important to wash your Earthing product frequently. It will not be damaged by washing, on the contrary it will benefit from it.
Washing removes sweat and oils naturally present on the skin, which maintains the conductivity of the silver.
To do :
- Wash every week or two Machine wash in hot water (40°C)
- Use a liquid laundry detergent
- Dry flat or in a tumble dryer at a low temperature (no higher than 65°C).
- Can be ironed at low temperature if desired
What not to do :
- Do not wash with bleach Do not wash with fabric softeners
- Do not use bleaching detergents or oxiclean laundry detergents or detergents containing oils such as lavender or coconut oil.
- Do not use fabric softener wipes for tumble dryers
- No dry cleaning
- Bleach, lotions and oils can tarnish silver and make it non-conductive.
- Softeners build up on silver and damage its conductivity.
Agara Council
For Earthing to be effective, it is essential to test the quality of your earthing system, either with a suitable device (Earthing tester, Tohm-E or Catohm DT-300 earthing meter) or by calling in a professional with the appropriate equipment.
If the electrical installations are too old or badly installed, the earth connection may be inadequate or non-existent.
It's also very important to keep electric fields in the room to a minimum (clock radios, bedside lamps, unshielded power sockets and extension leads), to prevent them from interfering with the earthing system. Don't hesitate to measure them or have them measured!
For reasons of hygiene, textile items (clothing, hats, caps, bed linen, sleeping bags, blankets, gloves, socks, etc.) or any other item worn in direct contact with the body may not be returned or exchanged.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
