The Gigahertz Solutions NA8 Comfort 16 Amp automatic field switch (also often referred to as a bioswitch or mains decoupling relay) is installed on the electrical panel.
It automatically disconnects the circuit for which it was designed if there is no current demand. The circuit thus separated from the power supply network is no longer live and no longer creates electric fields.
Similarly, as soon as a user requests power, the field switch instantly restores the flow.
This means you can easily and effectively protect sleeping areas, children's bedrooms or any other part of your home.
Unlike the other models in the range (NA1 Comfort, NA5 Comfort, NA6 Comfort and NA7 Comfort), the sensitivity of the NA8 Comfort is adjustable: a manual adjustment screw is used to determine the ON and OFF thresholds (top), enabling the IAC to adapt to all types of load and to suit a wider range of uses.
It is therefore compatible not only with LED and low-energy bulbs, but also with dimmers, remote control switches and indicator switches.
This model is also recommended when stand-by appliances are connected to the circuit (electric roller shutters, chargers, appliances on stand-by, etc.).
Interrupted" mode indicator light.
Easy, safe assembly.
Technical specifications
- Operating voltage: 230 V
- Current: 16 A
- Power consumption: < 0.9 - 1.4 W
- Dimensions: 2 units on the panel (34 mm), height 55 mm
- Monitoring voltage: 230 VDC max. 8 mA
- Sensitivity: 0-3 mA
- Switch-off delay: 3 s
- Connection delay: 0.1 s
- Indicator lights: Green = circuit protected / Yellow = circuit under load (1 LED on = low load - 2 LEDs on = high load)
- Setting the trigger and switch-on thresholds to enable IAC compatible with very low power consumption (from 1W)
Supplied with a control light that plugs into the relevant room and goes out when the light is switched off or the bedside lamp is turned off, for example, or stays on if a power consumer is forgotten.
Supplied with a 1 µF Gigahertz Solutions filter, to be fitted directly to the automatic field switch (at the electrical panel). This filter reduces the voltage peaks of the public electricity supply that pollute the home's electrical network ("dirty power"), while increasing the stability of the current and the reliability of the automatic field switch, particularly when using LED bulbs.
Warranty: 2 years

Agara advice
Call in a qualified electrician to install and commission the field switch.
To find out on which circuit(s) to install it (or them), we recommend that you first measure your body's induced voltage by standing in the room you wish to protect (for example, in your bedroom, lying on your bed). Switch off (or if you can get help, have the circuits switched off one by one at the electrical panel) and identify those that have an effect on your induced voltage. It's on the circuit(s) that will reduce it as much as possible that you should install an automatic field switch.
Automatic field switches should only be used by qualified personnel. We accept no liability for damage to property or personal injury resulting from incorrect use of automatic field switches.
It is up to the professional to carry out the installation in compliance with the standards of each country and in accordance with good practice.
What is the purpose of an automatic field switch (and how do I know which circuit(s) to switch off)?
