The Earthing pillowcase allows you to sleep protected from radiation linked to your home's electrical installation, while providing your body with all the benefits of Earthing (connecting your body to the earth, like walking barefoot in the grass).<\/span><\/p>\n

We recommend sleeping directly on the Earthing pillowcase (direct contact with the skin for optimum use), so that the head and upper body are connected to the earth during sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n

This pillowcase is 100 % cotton, interlaced with soft, durable conductive silver fibres woven throughout. It contains between 500 and 1000 metres of silver thread, depending on its size.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is supplied with a 6 m earthing cord.<\/span>
\nCaution!<\/strong>\u00a0No earth connection plug included<\/strong><\/span>(Earthing plugs have 2 inputs, which is enough to connect a sheet and a pillowcase. To connect a sheet and pillowcases, you'll need to buy an additional double Earthing connector).<\/span>
\nIf you buy the pillowcase on its own, you'll also need to buy an earthing plug.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the edge of the pillowcase is a connector to which the connection cord is attached. If, however, you do not have a satisfactory earth connection at home and you live in a detached house or at the bottom of a block of flats, you can use the \"metal earth rod\".<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Earthing?<\/span><\/h3>\n

According to Clinton Ober, Stephen Sinatra and Martin Zucker's book \"Connecting to the Earth, Perhaps the most important health discovery\", which serves as a reference work on the subject, connecting the body to the earth (or earthing) restores the body's natural electrical balance and discharges it of electrostatic charges, just like when you walk barefoot in the grass.<\/span><\/p>\n

The various Earthing products reproduce this natural phenomenon.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Care and washing advice<\/span><\/h3>\n

    It's important to wash your Earthing product frequently. It will not be damaged by washing, on the contrary it will benefit from it.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Washing removes sweat and oils naturally present on the skin, which maintains the conductivity of the silver.<\/span><\/p>\n

    To do :\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Wash every week or two Machine wash in hot water (40\u00b0C).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Use a liquid laundry detergent.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Dry flat or in a tumble dryer at a low temperature (no higher than 65\u00b0C).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Can be ironed at low temperature if desired.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      What not to do :\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Do not wash with bleach Do not wash with fabric softeners\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Do not use bleaching detergents or oxiclean laundry detergents or detergents containing oils such as lavender or coconut oil.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Do not use fabric softener wipes for tumble dryers\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • No dry cleaning<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Bleach, lotions and oils can tarnish silver and make it non-conductive.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Softeners build up on silver and damage its conductivity.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        For Earthing to be effective, it is essential to test the quality of your earthing system, either with a suitable device (Earthing tester, Tohm-E or Catohm DT-300 earthing meter) or by calling in a professional with the appropriate equipment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        If the electrical installations are too old or badly installed, the earth connection may be inadequate or non-existent.<\/span><\/p>\n

        It's also very important to keep electric fields in the room to a minimum (clock radios, bedside lamps, unshielded power sockets and extension leads), to prevent them from interfering with the earthing system.
