Earthing 6 metre extension lead

The Earthing extension lead adds an extra 6 metres to the length of a standard cord.

Several extension leads can be connected together to achieve the desired length.

If you want to connect several Earthing items to the end of an extension lead, you'll need to use a 2-in-1 splitter.

For Earthing to be effective, it is essential to test the quality of your earthing system, either with a suitable device or by calling in a professional with the appropriate equipment.

What is Earthing?

According to Clinton Ober, Stephen Sinatra and Martin Zucker's book "Connecting to the Earth, Perhaps the most important discovery of our time", which serves as a reference work on the subject, connecting the body to the earth (or earthing) restores the body's natural electrical balance and discharges it of electrostatic charges, just like when you walk barefoot in the grass.

For Earthing to be effective, it is essential to test the quality of your earthing system, either with a suitable device (Earthing tester, Tohm-E or Catohm DT-300 earthing meter) or by calling in a professional with the appropriate equipment. 

If the electrical installations are too old or badly installed, the earth connection may be inadequate or non-existent.

It is also very important to keep electric fields in the room to a minimum (clock radios, bedside lamps, power strips and unshielded extension leads), to prevent them from interfering with the earthing system.
